SHARED SERVICES CANADA AWARDS NETWORK SOLUTIONS SUPPLY CHAIN (NSSC) NATIONAL MASTER CONTRACTING VEHICLE
OTTAWA, ON 2020 — Shared Services Canada (SSC) has established a new Master Procurement Vehicle designed to support the Federal Government Departments and Agencies on a national scale. This NSSC vehicle for network and security products and solutions encompasses
Canada’s Local Area Network, Data Centre network, WAN Connectivity, Power Management, and IT Security. It also includes maintenance of existing (legacy) networking and security solutions.
SSC’s objective is to streamline procurement of Network Solutions cost-effectively while transitioning seamlessly from former legacy vehicles. As a key vehicle for large-scale IT procurement, NSSC will enable SSC to access upgraded, standardized technology and streamline its services to deliver on the expected savings.
iPSS and Long Views Systems jointly completed the lengthy and rigorous competitive process and were successfully awarded of the Master Contracting Vehicle Agreement.
Together with our NSSC Technology Partners including Aruba, BlueCat, Checkpoint, Ciena, Cisco, Citrix, Eaton, F5, Forcepoint, Fortinet, Imperva, Infoblox, Juniper, Riverbed, and Vertiv, iPSS and Long View Systems are well-positioned to help SSC achieve its long term technology objectives by supplying and maintaining the infrastructure that powers the Canadian Federal Government.
